I've made up my mind and I've decided to join Curves. Yeah, the weight loss thing is a bitch. I've tried and failed over and over, but I've always tried it on my own. I'm hoping with support, maybe this will be different. I'm hyped about it, so that's a good thing!

I also spiced up the hair a bit. I was tired of boring monotone color and thought I'd try something new. Mind you, this really isn't styled (I usually have it spiked in every direction, but you should get the idea).

Just got back from the dentist. Had deep cleaning on only half of my mouth that took an hour and a half to do.

Now, I've gone through pregnancy and childbirth no problem. Why the hell is tooth pain so bad???????????

I think I'll take a bottle of Advil and go lie down. Or I'll go stand in the street and wait to be hit by a bus. Either sounds just dandy right about now.

A while ago, I posted an entry about a doctor I work with who had suddenly disappeared. Thanks to an anonymous poster on my journal, I realized I'd never followed up and that it wasn't so nice of me after all the well wishes for Dr. Brooks and his family that I'd received. I definitely apologize. It made me realize some people do actually care about people they don't know and that it might have been of some interest.

He disappeared just outside of Washington DC and was found in Alabama some time later. The initial story we were told was that he didn't know how he'd gotten there, making it sound like maybe a medical thing? *shrugs*

All we know now, is that he told police at first that he was visiting a friend in a veteran's home down south. Then, is a second story, he stated he was held at gunpoint in DC and told to drive a man to Mexico. Supposedly, the man had gotten out about 8o miles from where he was found> Police found Dr. Brooks sitting in his van, reading a map.

I haven't heard any more details, but it all sounds fishy and very out of character for the man I've known for almost 20 years. Last heard, his wife was traveling to Alabama.

So anyway, I am not drawing any conclusions, but those are the facts. *shrugs* I am glad he's safe and at least his friends and family can stop worrying.

Hey everyone. We have a spankin' new LJer among us by the name of bdeviled. She has written a beautiful post 513 story called 'A Love That Will Never Grow Old'. She posted elsewhere, but now brings it to LJ for anyone who hasn't read it. It's complete and she's working on posting all the chapters. Her Brian/Justin characterization is amazing. When I first read it, it had me glued to my computer. Go now, read it and give her plenty of love and feedback!!
