Missing person...

There's a doctor that has worked for our company as a fill in for twenty years or so. Saturday afternoon, he disappeared. He was at another Pearle Vision owned by another doctor in the area. He left to go buy a lottory ticket across the street and planned to meet his wife an hour and a half later. He never showed up and no one has heard from him since. It's scary to think of the possibilities. Anyone owed a favor by the man upstairs?

When she was in college my sister was dating a guy.
The rumor was that his father was... um... connected.
And I don't mean like the electric company.

Anyway, one day he disappeared. Gone. Poof. As in
no longer in the picture. The cops investigated
and found nothing. That was 20 years ago. I asked
my sister about it recently and she said that the
guy told her that they seriously didn't know if
he was dead or just "gone" somewhere -- who knows
where?

God, that is awful. I'll send out positive thoughts for a good outcome. Whenever things like this happen, and it's horrible that they really do, seems like everyone remember similar events. I can think of two in my area in the past 15 or so years; neither of them had happy endings. :(

How horrible for his family. Although it doesn't sound good, I'm hoping for the best outcome possible, and that he is reunited with them. I'll say a prayer...maybe the man upstairs will hear.

You've had me worrying about this man and his family for weeks. He was found on April 5. WHY didn't you post earlier that he was found? To be blunt, that was rude and inconsiderate--here we are, worrying about strangers because of a post you made, but you don't get around to saying he's found until April 26??? Three weeks later.

Re your fiction--please just keep plugging away, gently. You'll get there. And I and others will be happy to have more of it to read.

And maybe you could change the colors on your site? This red makes it very hard to read what you're typing.
