When she was in college my sister was dating a guy.
The rumor was that his father was... um... connected.
And I don't mean like the electric company.

Anyway, one day he disappeared. Gone. Poof. As in
no longer in the picture. The cops investigated
and found nothing. That was 20 years ago. I asked
my sister about it recently and she said that the
guy told her that they seriously didn't know if
he was dead or just "gone" somewhere -- who knows
where?
